Senior Flash Engineer

I developed interactive training modules for Honda and Acura service technicians across the United States, using Flash, ActionScript, XML, HTML, and JavaScript. These modules covered complex technical subject matter and required students to complete assessments in order to pass each course.

Key responsibilities:

  • Flash Development — Architected and built all module interactivity using ActionScript, including quiz logic, branching navigation, and user progress tracking.
  • Technical Animation — Produced detailed animations illustrating the operation of automotive systems — including Automatic Transmissions, Engines, Electrical Systems, and TPMS — synchronized to professional voice-over narration.
  • Internal Tooling — Designed and built a desktop application to streamline the authoring of training modules, significantly reducing production time for the team.
